An Orange County woman grabbed headlines and criticism after getting breast implants at the age of 83.
“I never dreamt that what I did was going to make such a big splash,” Marie Kolstad told Melissa McCarty, reporting for CBS2 and KCAL9. “In most cases, people think this is ridiculous. Why bother kind of thing… well I don’t feel my age.”
The mother of four, grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother to 12 told McCarty she joked about the surgery in her doctors office months ago.
“And I said, ‘I’m too old for something like that.’ He said, ‘you’re never too old,’” Kolstad said.
