Book Review: The Four-Hour Body,

Timothy Ferriss Book, The Four-Hour Body is an interesting, but inconsistent, read that could be subtitled, Building an Army of Narcissists. Ferriss covers a lot of well-documented ground, in a sprawling book that covers just about everything you need to know about the body, and engages in a healthy amount of outside-the-box thinking; a rarity for health and fitness books these days.

The book isnt perfect, and I dont agree with much of Ferriss exercise program, but The Four-Hour Body is a much better read than the vast majority of crap of the Biggest Loser and celebrity trainer variety.

FITNESS DAY AT THE BALLPARK

Fans at Sunday’s Syracuse Chiefs/Durham Bulls game at Alliance Bank Stadium are invited to participate in several fitness classes in the parking lot near the third base side of the ballpark.

There’s a “Body Attack” class by Trillium Fitness instructor Barb St. Pierre at noon, and an introductory Zumba class by Edelika Becker at 12:40 p.m. The game starts at 2 p.m.

Admission to the classes is free with a game ticket; preregistration by emailing is encouraged.
